CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PANDEMIC
We are currently open on Sundays at 11 and 6.30.
Tuesday Bible Studies are on Zoom at 7.45 p.m.
Our Risk Assessment is on the News page.
We have further enhanced protection by purchasing Virusend, the antiviral spray used by the British military, which kills COVID-19 in one minute.
Langford Chapel was opened in 1846. We are an independent evangelical church with a Bible-believing ethos. Members and friends of the Church are from a variety of backgrounds but we share a love for Jesus and a longing to spread the good news of His love.
George Beacham ("Pastor George") has been
the minister since November 2009.
We are not some weird cult, we try to remain true to the historic Christian faith. We believe the Bible to be reliable and that the Church's mission is to share the teachings of Jesus (Matthew 28 verses 19-20). All summed up by our Bible text: Holding forth the word of life (Philippians 2:16).
Listen to a message on the Recent BibleTeaching page or directly on our SoundCloud stream - then you'll know we're on the right lines!
As well as our regular services we go out into the local community to visit and encourage. There is also a monthly coffee morning, "Aroma", which is mainly attended by local people (Currently suspended due to the pandemic.) We have friendly links with other evangelical churches and Christian organisations locally and further afield.
We are a registered charity, No.1172622.
We love to meet people, so feel free to visit during services or events. (Social Distancing and limited space during the Coronavirus pandemic.)
